Clytie Odessa Louton Seastrunk, 92, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at home. Born January 4, 1916 in Lucky, Arkansas, to A. J. and Mary Sorrell Louton, she was a member of the Airport Road Church of Christ. She was an accomplished seamstress and gardener, active in the community, former president of Gardner School PTA, active in fundraising for the March of Dimes, and active in her husband�s career of auctioneering and real estate.
She was predeceased by her husband, J. R. Seastrunk; three sisters and two brothers, Alta Stricklin, Lecie Sanders, Lindsey Louton, Clarence Louton and Chester Louton
Survivors include two brothers, Loyd Louton and Robert Louton and one sister, Mary Jo Oliver, all of Hot Springs; one son, Clyde Seastrunk of Hot Springs; three daughters, LaVonne Depew and Audrey Davis both of Hot Springs, and Brenda Blackwood of Bracketteville, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren, her loving niece, Loretta Stricklin; and her caregiver, Glenda Lynn.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008, at Airport Road Church of Christ with her grandson, Matthew Perciful officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Johnny Jay Davis, Kerry D. Depew, John Josh Davis, John Joseph Davis, Rob Seastrunk, Glen Perciful and Tony Heykoop. Honorary pallbearers are Clyde Seastrunk, Commander Kenneth B. Depew, Kenneth J. Depew, John Jarrod Davis, Virgil Snyder and Jeriel Lingo. Special thanks to Arkansas Hospice.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Gross Funeral Home.
