Jody L. Ellis, 51 of Pomona, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023.
He was born November 24, 1971 in Murphysboro to the late Howard Leon and Goldie Nance Ellis.
Jody was a truck driver, a skilled laborer and could fix anything. He loved football, NASCAR, music, gardening, and was a good cook.
He is survived by his daughters, Myranda (Brent) Zeschke and Autumn Ellis; grandchildren, Mattison and Blaine Zeschke; brothers, Troy, Tony (Buffy) and Jason Ellis and sister, Robin Ellis; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Monday, September 25th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Crain Funeral Home-Murphysboro. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Randy Wheaton officiating.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the family to assist with funeral arrangements.
