ALTO PASS - Paul D. Etherton, 73, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at his daughter's home in Alto Pass.
He was born Nov. 28, 1936, in Alto Pass, the son of William D. and Dona Minton Etherton.
Paul married Judith A. Sanders on June 27, 1959, in Alto Pass.
He retired from Granite City Steel and was a member of NRA for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Etherton of Alto Pass; three children, Gregory (Sheilia) Etherton, Michael (Susan) Etherton and Sarah (Steve) Wilkins, all of Alto Pass; one brother, Jack Etherton of Anna; four grandchildren, Amanda Glasco, Joseph Etherton, Rachel Etherton and Kody Travelstead; one great-grandchild, Elijah Paul Glasco; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
According to his wishes, he was cremated. Graveside services will be announced at a later date.
