Thomas F. "Frank" Etherton 84, of Granite City, Illinois passed away on November 24, 2011 at 4:35 p.m. Mr. Etherton was born on March 8, 1927 in Pomona, Illinois a son of the late Dallas & Edith (Basden) Etherton. Mr. Etherton proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was a chemist for Granite City Steel and retired in 1977 after 30 years of dedicated service; he enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Eloise (Miller) Etherton; brother Howard Etherton. He is survived by his wife Janice (Judge) Etherton; daughter Maureen & Nicholas Ryan of Granite City, IL; step daughter Linda & Randal Halbert of Greenville, IL; step son Scott & Wandena Willman of Edwardsville, IL; grandsons Scott Ryan & Patrick Ryan; great grandchildren Kristen, Taylor, Alexis, Tyler Ryan.
