Mrs. Libbie Hagler, mother of W. Ray Hagler of this city, died this morning, Mary 14 at 1 o'clock at her home in Alto Pass. She had been ill for two years.
Mrs. Hagler was born in Alto Pass, October 17, 1869. She was 72 years of age at the time of her death. Her husband, Ed L. Hager, preceded her in death five years ago. Two children also died in infancy. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Besides her son in this city, she leaves another son, Robert Hagler of Anna, and one daughters, Mrs. G.F. Chamberlain of East St. Louis.
Also surviving are two sisters, Delia Caveness of Alto Pass, who nursed her throughout her long illness and Mary Corgan of East St. Lousis. Two grandchildren. Billie Lane Hagler and Elizabeth Ann Chamberlain, also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Baptist Church in Alto Pass. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
