Miss Edith Allen
Miss Edith Mabel Allen, aged 75, resident of Gillham, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 23, 1992 in Community Hospital of De Queen, Arkansas.
She was born December 27, 1916 at Galena, Arkansas; she worked for the Arkansas Forestry Commission 40 years, where she served as Gillham tower keeper. She was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 24 in the Gillham cemetery with Rev. Clyde Swift officiating. Services were under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home of De Queen.
Survivors were one sister, Faye Johnson of Greensboro, North Carolina, and a number of nieces and nephews.
