Maye Virginia (Jensen) Hagler, 83, Springfield, died at 2:10pm Saturday, Nov.1,2008 in Christain Health Center, Republic.
She was born May 1, 1925 in Adair Coounty, Iowa, to Henning Adolf and Edna Francis (Spaulding) Jensen.
She grew up in the Fontanelle and Greenfield, Iowa area.
She married Donald Leroy Hagler Oct.5, 1944 in Fontanelle. They moved to Aurora in 1947. He survives.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Rex, Clyde, Gilbert and Glen Jensen; three sisters, Elsie Creighton, Alice Crabtree and Mabel Pfrendheller; and one granddaughter.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Connie Hagler, Aurora and Wanda DeLozier of Springfield; one son, Donnie Hagler, Aurora; one sister, Helen Hohartz, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services were Wednesday, Nov. 5, in Marionville IOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Childers officiating, under the direction of Williams Funeral Home, Marionville
