Zirette Marie Hale
Funeral services for Ziretta Marie Hale, 72, of 300 N. Seventh St., Murphysboro, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and until time of services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hale died Tuesday, June 21, 1983, in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
She was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro, Eagles Auxiliary in Carbondale, Moose Lodge of Murphysboro and Busy Bee Club at the High Rise in Murphysboro.
She was born June 25, 1910, in Franklin County, to Edgar and Elzira Stoffel Thomas.
Survivors include two sons, Charles of Carbondale and Billy L. of Murphysboro; one brother Cecil Thomas of Murphysboro; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons.
