Pauline E. Hale, 88, passed away Sunday August 18, 2019, at Manor Court in Carbondale, Illinois.
She was born on July 2, 1931, in Murphysboro, Illinois to Ottie Moutell and Ruby L. (Ellis) Moutell.
Pauline married Billy Lamont Hale on October 25, 1947, and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1989.
Mrs. Hale was a member of Christ Community Church of Murphysboro. She was also a telephone operator for many years and later retired from the GTE Telephone Company.
She is survived by three children, Ray and Carol Hale of Murphysboro, Marvin and Karen Hale of Murphysboro, and Earl L. Hale and his companion Carl Hayes of Newport, Rhode Island, one sister Cathy Green of Belleville, Illinois, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Rene Brown, and one brother Charles Moutell.
