A generous, kind and loving man, Ed or Eddie was the son of Wade Henry Todd and Lola Irene Brenner Todd. Raised in West Jordan, Utah, he graduated from "Old” Bingham High, Class of 1959. A member of the Methodist Church, he began working at a very young age in a small grocery store in West Jordan. For the next fifty years, this began his career in retail stores – IGA, Safeway and ended in Jubilee Foods in West Valley on November 29, 2004. On July 28, 1961, he married Jessie Ilean Smith. Bless with three wonderful children and later the ultimate blessing of grandchildren, Ed is survived by his wife, Ilene, son Mark (Heather) Todd, daughters Tammie (Duane) Todd and Wendy (Mark) Davie; five grandchildren; Brooke Davie, Justin and Lauren Todd, Talon Todd and Chelsea Riches; two sisters and their wonderful husbands Jannette and Lyle Porter and Jan and George Lacoxm brother-in-law Ken Smith, kindred brother and sister Gary and Linda Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne.
