ETHERTON, William Lloyd, 54, Piedmont Rt. 4, died at his residence yesterday 8:45 a.m. after a sudden illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gwendolyn Rains Etherton; a daughter, Miss Rebecca Etherton, Piedmont; two sons, Lloyd Joseph and Dennis Earl Etherton, Piedmont; a sister, Mrs. Ralph Miller, Glencoe Rt. 1.
Funeral services will be from Oak Grove Baptist Church tomorrow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Farrington officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Active pallbearers, Louis Kelley, Haskel Kelley, Horace Kelley, Gary Miller, Paul Miller, Lawrence Patterson.
Mr. Etherton was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Etowah County most of his life. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and was retired.
The body will remain at Collier-Butler until the hour of service.
