Beulah Turnage, 71, of 300 N. 7th St., Murphysboro, died today, Aug. 13, 1980, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro after a brief illness.
Mrs. Turnage was a member of the First Baptist Church and the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Auxiliary
She was born July 12, 1909, to Bert and Ada Black Hagler.
She was married Dec. 27, 1935, to William R. Turnage, who preceded her in death July 28, 1970.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Rednour of Chandler, Ariz., and Wilma Jean Brewer and LaDonna Eastwood, both of Murphysboro; one son Senior Master Sgt. Robert Turnage of Blytheville, Ark.; one stepson, James Turnage of Louisville, Ky.; one brother, Elmer Hagler of Murphysboro; two sisters, Frances Brikeen of Lakeland, Fla., and Betty Kincer of Hickory, Ky.
One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Cemetery near Murphysboro.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
