Description:
Mrs. Mary A. Hagler Dunning, resident of De Soto, died yesterday at 11 a.m., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. Holder [Cora Bell Hagler Holder], 808 North Freeman Street in Carbondale. She was 84 years of age. She had been seriously ill for about two weeks.
Mrs. Dunning is survived by her husband, Ed Dunning, and the following children; a daughter, Mrs. Holder of Carbondale; a son, Duff Hagler of Paducah, Ky.; a stepson, Harrison Hagler of Carbondale; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ora Holder of Carbondale. She also has several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock at the Huffman Funeral Home where the body will lie in state until the hour of services. The Rev. Ronald Scriven, pastor of the First Christian Church in Carbondale, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lipe Cemetery.
