December 23, 1816
It is ordered that Phillip Laremore be and he is hereby appointed overseer of that part of the salt works road from the crossing of the Ledebottoms Road to Skaggs Mill in the room of Moses Skaggs and that ll the mail laboring persons of the age of sixteen years and upwards residing at Jesse Shoemaker, Nathe Owens, Tandy Shoemaker, John Corum, Moses Skaggs, Moses Etherton, William Etherton, Phillip Laremore, Robt Laremore, Peter DeSpain, Heriam Despain, John Despain, James Howel, Letteberry Belsher, Charles Skaggs, Charles Blevins, Will Phelps, Turnis Adams be and they are hereby allotted him to clear and dig the same smooth at least thirty feet wide as the law details.
