Kim Alan Ellis, passed away on Sunday December 19, 2021, at 3:15 A.M at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Kim was born February 8, 1958, to Robert Lee Ellis and Joyce Ann (Morgan)
Kim was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Murphysboro, Illinois. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Murphysboro.
Kim had many hobbies and loves such as playing corn hole, hot tubs, classic cars, making home movies, taking pictures, and he enjoyed traveling. He was a wonderful family man, but his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart.
Kim married Marion (Satterwhite) on July 23, 1994, in Murphysboro, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife Marion Ellis of Murphysboro, IL, two children Jammie Mezo (Rodney) of Murphysboro, IL and Shane Satterwhite of Grand Tower, IL and three grandchildren Brent Mezo, Trent Mezo, and Morgan Mezo.
Other survivors include his parents Robert and Joyce Ellis, one sister Debbie Smith (Brian) of Vista, CA, and one brother Mike Ellis (Angie) of Murphysboro, IL.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Murphysboro, Illinois with Pastor Steve Raglin officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
The family has requested memorials to be made to The Kim Ellis family.
