Sandra Jean Crawshaw, age 76 of Carbondale, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by members of her loving family.
She was born on July 2, 1948 to Ennis James and Mary Evelyn (Lipe) Dillon in Oran, Missouri.
Sandra graduated with a bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) and worked at UMSL as an International Tax Specialist for over 10 years until retirement in February 2013. During retirement, one of her favorite hobbies included creating fine jewelry and was an avid lover of animals.
She is survived by her loving husband, David G. Crawshaw of Carbondale; sons, Brian Ray (Donna) of Stockton, NJ and Kenneth Ray (Crystal) of Marion, IL; Daughter, Judith Gwen Copes (Don) of Fleming Island, FL; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 daughters, Amelia Crawshaw and Delia Shepherd.
No services are planned at this time. An inurnment will be held at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park Columbarium.
The cremation of Sandra Jean Crawshaw will be personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.
