Irvin Yoast, 75 of Carbondale, formerly of DeSoto, passed away 4:30 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Irvin enjoyed farming and working on his farming equipment in his younger years.
Irvin was born January 15, 1940 in to Ivan and Ada (Mutell) Yoast.
Surviving are, a brother and sister-in-law, Ardell and Terri Yoast of Carterville; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Mike Dixon of Carbondale; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, John Yoast, Virgil Yoast and Loyd Yoast.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cundiff Cemetery at Carterville.
