Description:
Know all men by these presents, That we, Macmallin H. Etherton, Samuel Etherton are held and firmly bound unto The People of the State of ILLINOIS in the sum of five hundred Dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made; we jointly and severally bind ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents.
SEALED with our seals, and Dated this 29 day of Jan A.D. 1846.
The Condition of this Obligation is such that, if the above bounded Macmillin H. Etherton, who has been appointed Guardian for Micajah H. Etherton, a minor under the the age of 14 years shall faithfully discharge the office of such Guardian according to law; and shall render a fair and just account of his said Guardianship to the Court of Probate: for the county of Jackson from time to time, as he shall be required by said court and comply with all the orders of said Court, lawfully made relative to the goods, chattles and moneys of such minor, and render and pay unto such minor, all moneys, goods, chattles, title-papers and effects which may come to the hands or possession of such Guardian, belonging to such minor, when such minor shall be thereto entitled or to any subsequent Guardian should such Court so direct, then this obligation shall be otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
