I received the following in an e-mail on 4 March 1999
William Carroll Etherton b:12/1/1844 d: 6/9/1909. I don't believe he was ever married to a Frances Reeves. He is buried in Antioch cemetery along with his 1st wife Sarah Frances Whitlow. I have personally visited this grave site. His son, Hiram, married Anna Moseley. I misspelled the name in the outline as Mosley. I have a copy of their marriage license. They were married March 21, 1896, in Marion, IL She was from Oxney. He was from Makanda. I don't know where Oxney is or was. It may have been a small township like Liberty and Antioch which were purchased by the Federal Government and are part of Giant City Park, Little Grassy Lake area near Makanda, IL Can you change the Internet web pages to reflect these changes?

Attached is a picture of Louisa Watson. She was the 2nd wife of William Carroll Etherton b: 1844 d:1909. She was married to Tom Bennett before marrying Wm C. She was born Sept 6, 1846, died Oct 31, 1891. Her father was John Watson, her mother Susan McGill. She and William Carroll had 4 children. Adda Leona b:1/18/1882 d:1929; Grover Jackson b: 5/4/1885 d: 9/21/1952; Emma Edith b:5/21/1887; Lilly Pearl b: 11/13/1889. Please place on web page.
I received the following in an e-mail on 18 March 1999
This is the 3rd wife of William Carroll Etherton ( 1844-1909). They were married in 1890. Her maiden name was Frances McDaniel. Before her marriage to Wm C she was married to a Mosley or Moseley. They had two children, Jim and Anna. Anna Married Wm C's son, Hiram. Frances died Dec 23, 1916.
