I Soloman Lipe of the County of Jackson and Stater of Illinois of the age of seventy nine years and being of sound mind and memory do make publish and dictate this my last will and testament in the xxxx xxxx that is to say 1st I give and bequeth to my son Hamilton Lipe forty acres if land being in Jackson County and state of Illinois and described as follows to wit South East South East portion section twenty two (22) township ten (10) range 2 (2) West together with all the xxxx and xxxx thereto xxxxx in any wise xxxx to have and to hold the xxxx xxxx xxxx to the said xxxx
3. all my personal estate I bequeth and will to the said Hamilton Lipe in consideration that the said Hamilton Lipe is to keep and xxxx me and my wife Easter Lipe sp long as we both shall live and lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint J W Grammer (xxx) my friend to be the executor of this my last will and testament therby xxxxx all other wills made by me in witness wherof I make hereto set my hand thos 20th day of May 1881.
